We are in the process of organizing the WFK Ice House Foundation and are very excited about its future.  The family's goal is to be able to continue the wonderful tradition established by Bill Kidder which will include the collecting, preservation, and demonstration of a wide variety of examples of "Yankee Ingenuity," a trait most admired by Bill and the results of which he immensely enjoyed sharing with a great number of visitors of all ages.

We  were just recently granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS which will enable us to pursue our goals as a private operating foundation.   Being granted charitable status is the first of many steps we will be taking to insure the continuance of the Ice House as we all have known and enjoyed it .

The Ice House doors are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until October or so, from 9:00-4:00 and Dick Brady (also known as TinkerII) is usually on hand to give the "tour."

The Foundation will be guided in the future years by a Board of Directors, including at present:  David H. Kidder, William F. Kidder III, Marilyn Kidder, Andrew J. Kidder, and W. Michael Todd.  Any one of us can be reached at the email address below.  We welcome your comments and support.  Please feel free to sign in the guestbook above so we can keep you up to date as to the current goings on at the Ice House.
